It seems that the team are returning to a familiar place, a site down the road from Virginia Water, a place we conducted a ground investigation this time last year. Trumps Farm, owned by the Surrey County Council, is a backfilled landfill with infilled and Made ground to be anticipated across the entirety of the site, as well as Worked Ground present on the western side of site.
According to the British Geological Survey, the site is underlain by the Bagshot Formation (Sand) with no superficial deposits present on site. Below is site plan, the locations of the 11 No. Cable tool boreholes are shown along the northern border of site, expected to take just under a week.
