The scope of works at JSJ’s storage yard involved 2 No. Cable Percussion boreholes to a maximum depth of 15m bgl with 5 No. Dynamic Sample boreholes to a maximum depth of 5m bgl. Limited geotechnical laboratory testing including quick undrained triaxal testing, Atterberg limit determination and particle size distribution subject to ground conditions. Limited chemical testing to confirm sulphate conditions with respect to buried concrete.
The fieldwork was south of JSJ’s office, an area of land that Discovery CE have also conducted a ground investigation for. A factual and interpretative report letter was provided upon completion of the fieldwork.
